Classic Cars, Rusty Trucks, Old Motorcycles

This website celebrates the motorhead lifestyle - my projects, your projects, articles, and original photos. Hopefully you will find some inspiration here to get you out in the garage and working...

Big Bad Green AMX

Over the last 30 years, I've met hundreds of classic car enthusiasts who share my passion for all things mechanical. We all have one common bond - we're either starting a new project, finishing an old project, or looking for another one.

There is a tremendous satisfaction that comes from bringing a wrecked or abandoned vehicle back to life, and when accomplished, easily outweighs the bother and frustration. Most of my garage projects have been successful, and the others have been learning experiences.

Mark's Hardtail Sportster

My first garage project was a 1972 Harley-Davidson Sportster, which I bought wrecked in 1981. It was the only way I could afford the motorcycle I wanted, but six months and $500 later, I was riding.

1970 Chevy El Camino project

My first automotive restoration was this 1970 Chevy El Camino which I bought in 1988. Like most old Northern cars, there was rust on the bottom of every panel. By the time the bodywork was completed, I was a pretty good welder.
